One agent on Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram and the web
Channels in Definable are the places people talk to your agent: Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, the Chrome extension's side panel and a web app that comes with every agent. Every channel reaches the same agent, with the same instructions, apps and knowledge, and one switch pauses a channel.
How channels work
Every channel talks to the same agent, with the same instructions, apps and knowledge. Turn one on and people reach the agent where they already are.

Pick where people reach it
Slack, WhatsApp and Telegram each take a short setup: a one-click Slack app, a Telegram bot token, or a code scanned in WhatsApp.
- 02
Its own app and a side panel
Every agent gets a hosted page for your customers, and the Chrome extension puts it beside any page your team allows.
- 03
Pause a channel any time
One switch stops answers there until you turn it back on. Each row shows its status and two weeks of messages.
Channels FAQ
Where can I put an agent?
Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, the Chrome extension and a web app that comes with every agent. More channels are on the way.
What is the agent's web app?
Every agent gets a page of its own that you can share with customers. You decide who gets in: sign-in with Google or an email code, limited to your domains if you like, and questions people answer before they start. Leave sign-in off and people come in as guests.
How does WhatsApp work?
You link a WhatsApp number the way WhatsApp Web does, and the agent answers one-to-one chats on it. It's an unofficial connection, so WhatsApp can ban the number; use one kept for the agent.
How does Slack work?
You create a Slack app in your workspace from a manifest we give you, and the agent answers there. Questions and approvals arrive as messages; reply in words, or YES or NO.
